When you sign in, we receive your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile image. We also store account and session identifiers needed to keep you signed in.

When you use Lang Cloze, we may store learning activity such as practice attempts, progress, favorites, custom learning packs, subscription status, and speech-usage duration.

Audio you record for speech recognition is transmitted securely to our speech-processing provider so that we can return a transcript and feedback. Lang Cloze does not permanently store your microphone recordings. We may retain technical usage information, such as audio duration, to operate quotas and prevent abuse.

Text-to-speech audio generated for learning content may be cached to improve speed and reliability.

We use this information to provide sign-in, synchronize learning progress, generate and recognize speech, deliver requested emails, process subscriptions, protect the service, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

We use service providers to operate Lang Cloze, including Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Google for optional sign-in, Resend for sign-in emails, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for speech services, and Stripe for payments. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services under their own privacy and security terms.

We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in and a first-party preference cookie to remember your privacy choice. These cookies are necessary for the service and do not require advertising or cross-site tracking.

Only if you accept analytics, we store a random visitor identifier in your browser and send first-party usage events to Lang Cloze so we can understand which pages and learning flows are useful. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

We apply access controls, encryption in transit, short-lived sign-in links, and hashed authentication tokens to protect account data.

We retain account and learning data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
